We don't sell a menu of unrelated repairs. We rebuild the four points in your diagnostic setup that actually fail, and we test every one of them before your unit ships.


SERVICE 01

VCI charging port replacement

A worn charging port is the single most common reason a VCI module shows up dead on the bench with no obvious cause.

What we replace

The physical charging port is desoldered from the module's board and replaced with OEM-spec hardware, not glued or re-seated.

Why it fails

Hundreds of charge cycles loosen the port's solder joints, so the module reads as charging but loses connection under light vibration.

What you get back

A module that holds a charge connection through a full shift, verified on our bench before it ships.

SERVICE 02

Cable connector overhaul — both ends

A cable is only as reliable as its worst connector. We rebuild both ends in the same job, because fixing one and leaving the other is how the same complaint comes back in a month.

What we replace

Connector shell, pin block, and strain relief at both the laptop end and the VCI end of the cable.

Why it fails

Repeated docking widens pin tolerances, and cable flex at the strain relief is where wires break internally without visible damage.

What you get back

A cable that's continuity-tested pin by pin at both ends, with a fresh, firm seat at every connection.

SERVICE 03

Laptop & tablet USB port replacement

If the module and cable test clean but the disconnects continue, the port on the shop laptop or tablet is almost always the reason.

What we replace

The USB port is replaced at the board level inside the laptop or tablet used to run your diagnostic software.

Why it fails

Shop laptops see far more insertion cycles than a typical office machine, and the port is rarely rated for that kind of daily use.

What you get back

A port that meets spec insertion force and holds a stable connection for the life of a diagnostic session.

SERVICE 04

Full diagnostic & re-certification

Included on every job, not sold separately. This is how you get proof the disconnects are gone, not just our word for it.

What we test

A simulated OEM software update and diagnostic session, run end to end through the repaired connection path.

Why it matters

Update failures often only surface partway through a large transfer — a quick continuity check won't catch that, a full simulation will.

What you get back

A signed test report with the unit, so your service manager has a record for the file.
