AUTOMOTIVE MODULE REPAIR

A dead module isn't always a new-module problem.

Infotainment head units, body control modules, and instrument clusters fail the same way any board does — a handful of components under stress. We repair the module on the bench instead of defaulting to a full replacement.

WHAT WE HANDLE

Component-level repair, not a guess and a swap

Every job starts on the bench under magnification, tracing the fault to the actual component before anything gets touched.

Infotainment head units

Dead screens, boot loops, stuck-on-logo, and no-audio faults diagnosed and repaired at the board level rather than swapped wholesale.

Body & comfort control modules

Window, lock, mirror, and interior lighting faults that present as wiring problems often trace back to a board fault inside the control module itself.

Instrument clusters

Gauge sweep faults, dead backlighting, and flickering displays repaired at the component or connector level.

Connector & pin repair

Corroded or worn module connectors rebuilt to spec so the fix holds under the vehicle's normal vibration and thermal cycling.

Display & touchscreen rework

Backlight failures, dead pixels, and digitizer faults addressed without replacing the full display assembly where the fault allows it.

Written failure analysis

Where a module isn't a viable repair, you get a clear explanation of the fault for your own decision on replacement.

FAQ

Questions we hear on this one

If yours isn't covered here, send us the symptom and we'll answer directly.

Do you work on European and domestic modules?

Yes — component-level repair is largely brand-agnostic. Send the module's part number and the symptom and we'll tell you what we're seeing before you commit to anything.

Is this the same as the VCI diagnostic refurbishment service?

No — that service rebuilds the physical connection points on a dealership's diagnostic hardware (VCI module, cable, laptop port). This service repairs the vehicle's own modules at the board level. Many shops use both.

What's the turnaround?

Most modules are diagnosed within 1–2 business days of arrival, with repair turnaround depending on the fault and part availability.

Can you ship a repaired module back with documentation?

Yes — every repair ships with a written summary of the fault and the work performed, useful for any post-repair coding or calibration on your end.

Send us the symptom and the model.

We'll tell you whether it's a board-level fix and what it'll take, before anything ships.
